Seriously, how fun is it to have no short of 80 high school kids together in a hilly field making human ice cream sundaes? Carrying marshmallows in their armpits, cherries between their toes, ice cream on their stomachs, and whipped cream on their heads, they had to run across a field to relinquish the ingredients on to their very own human ice cream sundaes. It's times like these, where we can play hard and carelessly, that i really love what Young Life is about. How could a giant ice cream food fight not break down walls in relationships? I'm so grateful that Young Life is so fun and relationally intentional, and I adore living life with these kids.
