COLORado.

Of all my summer adventures, being on summer staff at Frontier Ranch in Buena Vista, CO has been the most challenging and rewarding. The community here is unreal and I'm still haven't adapted to waking up to such an amazing view of mountains across a wide open valley. Although I wouldn't say that working the register in a store is my calling, it has been a fun way to interact with and serve campers. It doesn't make sense in my head that I can work twelve hours a day on not enough sleep and still somehow not be ready to leave this place. The mountains, the great communtiy, the escape from technology and reality, and the whole spirit of this place are incredible. And oh, the colors. The sky is bluer, the clouds are calling to be painted, there is long grass with bright yellow flowers, and the sunlight is so selective on the mountains...

I haven't had a ton of time to go out on picture adventures, but my little camera hasn't really left my side.
