check.

I've checked one more thing off my list of life dreams: I finally tried surfing. My instructor was none other than the 9-time Costa Rica national surfing champion, and he said (in spanish, of course) that i was a "natural." I was surprised that paddling out, and not actually standing, was the hardest part! I surfed on a longboard in the white water for a little while, and then Gustavo upgraded me to a smaller board and the jumbo green waves. I love the feeling of balance and movement across the water, similar to that "flying" feeling i get when i am wakeboarding!!

This is one of the not so big waves at Jaco Beach, but one of the very few pictures i took there (i was too busy surfing :)!
