valparaiso, chile.
This past weekend I took a trip to the Chilean coast, to the cities of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. My fascination for Valparaiso can't really be explained except by the fact that I got left behind by the majority of our group because I was lagging behind, taking pictures. Apparently it's a lot like San Francisco with the whole hills & colorful houses setup, but I've never been there so I wouldn't know. Everything in the city looked distressed and old, and there are cobblestone streets and tiny staircase alleys left and right. Here are a few of the many pictures I took... more to come soon!

gosh, these are incredible. i feel like i am roaming the streets of chile with you. i love the blues in the ocean and the sky next to all of the neat-o architecture. you're so good hales.
