Last Monday we spent the second photography class learning about and then actually using this original 1920's box camera to take portraits. The box is in itself a mini film development chamber [chemicals and all!] that gives you a negative of the photo, and then you take a second photo of the negative to get the totally inverted positive image. I'll go ahead and confirm your assumption that I was in dreamland.
